Chapter 233 VIP Tickets
pαndα`noνɐ1--сoМ A few days had passed by since Lei Zhen departed with Jessica and Bella.
And the reason why he was able to depart with them was that he had agreed to join them in a popular theater to celebrate their upcoming movie.
He didn\'t know whether it was a coincidence or not, but the date and location of their opening theater were around the area of the Golden Restaurant, with the date being his free day when there would be no work.
There were two tickets given to him by them after he gave her his Post Office (PO) box address detail. Without many surprises, the tickets were VIP, so Lei Zhen was wondering who he could invite to join him.
In the real world, Lei Zhen was talking with Tang Qiaolian on a call.
"So are you free at that time to join me in the theater?" He asked calmly.
"I wish I could join you, but lately, I\'ve been swamped with a lot of work and cooperation from other guilds. This is an opportunity that I can\'t miss since we are riding on the trend of us obtaining the first-clear achievement. Once I miss this golden opportunity, I will not get it again." Tang Qiaolian responded regretfully.
As the guild leader, she could not afford to neglect her duty and responsibility unlike Lei Zhen, who casually brush all the management work to Griselda.
"I understand, Qiaolian. You have some important work to do, so no worries." Lei Zhen understood her standpoint and wouldn\'t attempt to persuade her to drop all her work for an opening theater.
Thus, he ended the call rather quickly and tried to dial Griselda, only to be swamped with a fury of curses from her.
"How am I supposed to have the time to go to a theater with you when I\'m about to begin a major press conference to demolish the Ravenoid Clan. Are you an idiot, Lei Zhen?" Griselda shouted angrily through the phone.
"I\'m sorry, but I dialed the wrong person who also had the same name as you." Lei Zhen swiftly gave an excuse and ended the call right away.
It was a good thing he was swift in his action. Otherwise, he feared that he would be scolded to no end by her, and subtly bring up the topic of his neglect of duty as a guild leader.
Wiping the nonexistent sweat from his forehead, Lei Zhen wondered who else he could invite.
At first, he thought about inviting Tie Longkun since he did do him dirty, but then he had a work shift that day.
\'I guess it was pointless to have two tickets.\' Lei Zhen thought to himself. Holding onto the two VIP tickets, he was wondering if he could possibly sell one of them online.
However, he thought that it would be disrespectful to sell it online when it was a good gesture for Jessica to give it to him for free. Shaking his head, Lei Zhen decided to stop paying attention to the ticket and check up on his MagnoPod instead.
The Nutrient Solution was about to run out considering how he was gaming for every hour, minute, and second possible. It was a good thing that he earned quite a good haul from his previous gaming, so he could now afford to restock some of the Nutrient Solution for himself.
Though, he still didn\'t need to purchase more at the moment since Tang Qiaolian was like a goddess descending from the sky. She had given him a whole bunch of high-quality ones that are placed neatly in his refrigerator.
"If only she wasn\'t that busy, then I could somewhat repay the debt a little bit with this ticket." He sighed exhaustively, going to his fridge and grabbing a new Nutrient Solution to replace the old one in his MagnoPod.
After he was done with that, he began to clean around the house and dressed up neatly as he made his way toward work.
During his working days, he had gotten along with two of his fellow co-workers, namely, Tie Longkun and Simon Chen. Simon Chen was a college student that was working part-time to earn some extra cash, and it wasn\'t a surprise that he was also into Magnolia.
And given that the three of them were into Magnolia, their conversations were quite natural as they discussed their progress and achievement.
Of course, none of them had bothered revealing their in-game names as they forgot about that aspect completely. It was just like how you would be using a messenger app to talk with your friends, but not actually having them added as friends for the system to recognize it.
"Anyway, so I was in the creepy dungeon filled with deadly slimes. There were so many different types that I couldn\'t even block them all with my shield." Simon Chen said creepily while Tie Longkun and Lei Zhen were listening behind the counter. It was a rare opportunity in which all three of them would be active on the same shift and watch over the store.
"Damn it, I\'m so jealous of you. Just how did you manage to find a secret dungeon with different types of slimes? I also wish to use my sword to fight them once." Tie Longkun clasped in his hands, his expression filled with envy.
"Haha, why are you looking so envious? I\'ll just tell you the location, but remember, don\'t reveal it to another person. Our conversation starts here and ends here, okay?" Simon Chen lowered his voice and glanced at the two of them.
"Rest assured, my lips are sealed." Tie Longkun said pridefully, making a zipping motion with his finger.
Lei Zhen nodded his head as well.
"I\'m not the talkative type." He plainly said, his meaning being clear as day.
Hearing the confirmation of these two, Simon Chen glanced around for one last time before revealing the location.
"This is an advanced city in Magnolia and you\'ll need to earn some qualification to be able to enter the restricted area. The city is called Topolous."
